XxRacixX (8 out of 10 ) This is a cool film and i love the remake too!! i think the mummy is brilliant (as in sfx) and i think the witty script is funny. Definitely a good film.
Bido (10 out of 10 ) I loved it, it is so cool and strangely enough, I like the mummy itself a lot. Great cast, writing and special effects.
Ami (10 out of 10 ) I loved both this 1999 remake version and the Mummy Returns! They were both awesome movies. And who doesn't love Brendan Fraser?
muz (10 out of 10 ) This is one of my favourite films. I love the witty character Jonathan played by John Hannah. He is funny and makes me smile in this film and even funnier in the mummy returns. This is a classic film no one will ever forget.
Marisol (10 out of 10 ) One of my favourite films. I love the actors and the music and so on.
Kaorii (1 out of 10 ) Dumb, stupid, idiotic, moronic, pointless, waste of time. Need I say more? Please do not see this movie. It's a total waste of sitting in front of a TV while braincells are dying and being put to no productive usage. Just don't even bother.
Awesome (10 out of 10 ) Wonderful! Love the movie and the sequel is great too.
Keira (10 out of 10 ) This movie is SO GOOD and if you have never seen it before, get out of your chair, stop reading this and go and get The Mummy!
Limey (10 out of 10 ) Rachel Weisz can be my mummy any day!
Sean (10 out of 10 ) This movie was excellent. The animators who made this this film possibly tried to stay away from guys draped in bandages and they achieved that perfectly. I like Stephen Sommers films like VAN HELSING and I loved this one.
Rosie (10 out of 10 ) Stephen Sommer's film are awesome. Why? Because he's got the hottest guys in his films e.g Brendan Fraser in The Mummy/The Mummy Returns and Hugh Jackman in Van Helsing. Oh and the SFX on his films? Totally rock! He's my fave director not because of his choice in men but because he knows how to make a real, decent movie.
Prince B. (10 out of 10 ) Wow the movie's fantastic. I wouldn't call it a waste of time as some have, no it's absolutely worth watching. Judging from the actual film itself I'd guess the scripting was.....need not to comment anything. Simply put the movie's great fun to watch. Stephen Sommers proves to be the best of Directors in Hollywood. What with The Mummy's sequel i.e. The Mummy Returns and now 4 the triquel The Mummy: Tomb of the dragon Emperor! That's also promising to be a blockbuster not forgetting Van Helsing!
Me (8 out of 10 ) It's a pretty good film for pure entertainment. Luckily, it has no silly pretensions of being anything thoughtful. It's very romantic, colorful and easy on the eye. The actors are very good - I especially love Kevin O'Connor (Benni). The second movie is far worse because of overly abundant special effects. It badly lacks simplicity. The third one is awful crap.
N (10 out of 10 ) I love this movie. The two others not as much. The first Mummy was witty, all the characters were great. Truly a new classic we were waiting forf rom thr time of Indiana Jones! I quite the movie all the time, it's is great fun and relaxing movie and funny without need for forced toilet scenes or other typical stupidities.
E.R.G. (10 out of 10 ) BRILLIANT MOVIE. I love Rick O'Connell (played by Brendan Fraser). He's really funny, especially when he's irritated by Jonathan (John Hannah). The acting is superb, and the casting is one of the best I have EVER SEEN. I love this movie so much, I can recite the WHOLE SCRIPT. I can even do the actors' and actresses' voices and accents.
Cara (7 out of 10 ) Dude. It's not "The Book of the Living" it's "The Book of the Dead" get your facts right.
Natalie (10 out of 10 ) I love the trio gang (O'Connell, Eveyln, and Jonathan). There were scenes in this script that I would have liked to see on screen like when Imhotep kissed Evie and O'Connell and Jonathan barged in. Wording is different and then there would be a scene when Evie asked O'Connell about calling her "his girl". And this script is helpful to practice my storyboarding.
